Hepatite autoimune e dermatomiosite: uma rara associação

The association between autoimmune hepatitis andidio pathic inflammatory myopathies has been rarelydes cribed in literature. To our knowledge, there are only five reports of autoimmune hepatitis, all coursingwith polymyositis.In the present work, we describe a female patient atthe age of 58 with cutaneous lesions (heliotrope), progressiveproximal muscle weakness of four limbs andconstitutional symptoms for 12 months, and worsenedtwo months ago. She had also been episodes of jaundicefor five months. During hospitalization, after intenseclinical investigation, the diagnosis of dermatomyositisand autoimmune hepatitis were defined, andthe patient had a good clinical and laboratory responseto corticosteroids and immunosuppressive.
